I do recall the fairing being wider starting in 98, so that has something to do with the part numbers being different

if its wider but the headlighs will fit thats ok

im concerned with 96 headlights on a 98 fairing

I do not think the 96 lights will fit, they are too narrow and different

Default streched

Your bike is streched correct. did you do it or did you buy a extende swing arm. my friend does his own streching he has done about 5 so far he uses solid piece. andjust workes it to look like it was made that way but it has to be polished any suggestions.on getting it done.
