what other bikes fairngs and all fits the 93' CBR 900 frame? I saw waaaaaaay back in the days they did a ducati 916 front end conversion on the cbr900 93' anyone remember seeing that bike?

 

A friend of of mine just bought a 94 900rr, we're looking into converting it to a 97 or 99. There's a guy in my area that we've contacted that has converted his 94 to a 954 model, but to answer your question I've been told that the 96 thru 99 will fit also the 929 and 954 models fairing will work with minor mods. There are rumors that 1000 will work but i imagine thats a major project. When i see the 954 converted 900 will take pics and post, and I'll post before and after pics of my buddy's bike.

 

All the '93-'99 900RR fairings should bolt right up. Now if you swap the front fairing you'll need to get the corresponding front inner pieces as well, cause some are wider than others. I'm looking into doing the front fairing, headlight swap on my '94 to make it the '99 front end. That will also include a new front stay and might have to adjust the guages slightly. I've also heard that you can get the 929 & 954 fairings to bolt up with minor tweakage

nice, I been wanting to change the rear fearings to a newer look. I might check into the 929.
