Ok, I'm slow so bear with me. Your bike performs fine between 0 and 80 but then doesn't have good throttle response above 80? Provide a bit more detail, if possible.

yeah, more details are needed. Is this a new problem? Done anything to exhaust, intake?

well it does well in lower gears, but once past 3rd gear it feels like the enging wants to stall out like its starving for air, and thats when my throttle response is a mess

Well for starters I would say do a thorough carb clean. If it's bottoming out at high rpms then the problem is with the main jets. So separate the carbs remove ALL rubber parts then let the metal parts (separate jets) soak in some chem clean. After this balance the carbs, at this point all things are equal. Ride it feel it out, then also check your mileage (run a full tank of gas average riding. then refill tank. Divide miles ridden/gas pumped) You should be getting around 36mpg.

Few questions you need to answer.

1.) is the bike jetted if so what size jets ?
2.) are you running stuck muffler or after market (which)
3.) is your airbox modified or stock. If stock what type of air filter.

come back with all those questions answered then I can give you a definitive answer.
