First of all i know the first ques. why the he## would you run carbs on a f4i. Well it is in a mini sprint and were not allowed injection. We are supposed to run cbr carbs, but they do not check them. So my question is does anyone know the best carbs to run, possibly aftermarket, or any other ways to do a little cheating to get some more hp. It has to be a stock motor on gas with no timing advancers or hot box's??????? And any year so if there a particular year that has more ponys.

I don't even know if there are any carbs out there that will hook up to an F4i manifold. If it has to be carbed, look for a '99-'00 F4 motor. Save the trouble of trying to bolt stuff up that it wasn't designed for.

 

F4 CARBS BOLT ON A F4I. THATS WHAT WE RUN I AM JUST LOOKING FOR BETTER OR SOMETHING TO DO TO THEM TO MAKE IT FASTER.

I didn't know that they would even bolt up. I guess the head and intake are the same.
Well, maybe you can rebuild the carbs and throw in some different jets, other than that, you won't gain much. You can try porting and polishing the intake runners for like a 2hp gain.
It is what it is, you won't gain much unless you throw some serious money into the motor/head, which doesn't seem to be allowed.

 

I know the 99' CBR is faster than the 2000F4...thats about it.
