First of all i know the first ques. why the he## would you run carbs on a f4i. Well it is in a mini sprint and were not allowed injection. We are supposed to run cbr carbs, but they do not check them. So my question is does anyone know the best carbs to run, possibly aftermarket, or any other ways to do a little cheating to get some more hp. It has to be a stock motor on gas with no timing advancers or hot box's??????? And any year so if there a particular year that has more ponys.

Well, '99 - '00 would be the closet match I'd think they use the same blocks, not sure about F3's and F2's, they could have different cylinder spacing which could lead to a totally different can of worms. But with the F4 carbs you could just fatten up the jets (to elevation) and work over the needles and seats. You can get adjustable cam and ingnition advancers for F4's and since they are the same block they just might fit.
