pull ypur plugs and check em, check the plug boots for cracks that would allow the spark to jump to the block, pull your carbs and clean em out, check the boots at the intake where the carbs mount to for cracks that would allow a vacuum leak. check vacuum lines for leaks, low battery voltage and a bad rectifier can cause a bike to run bad also.

My 900rr 93 had that a few months back. What I did was got a bottle of sea foam, mixed it with gasoline @ 3/4 mixture and poured it down the gas line then poured some right into the throttle bodies and shut the motor. I let it sit for 20 mintues or so and started it back up and ran more seafoam into the gasoline line...a bunch of white smoke came out but after that, my bike is back to normal. You can try that first, it'llsave a buck or two.

i tryed the plugs first and it started rite up.will still get the carbs and filter done befor the weather changes.thanks for all the quick help you guy gave me.
