Loose connection at the battery, loose ground wire somewhere, or your battery just died.

There isn't any rotten egg/sulphur smells is there? My reg/rect went one night while I was riding my F2 a couple years back and it actually was feeding my battery 25-30vdc. The battery boiled out everywhere and the bike died while I was riding. It stunk.

I havent had a chance to really look closely at it...but i did tighten the connections on the battery and took a quick glance at the wiring...didnt see anything wrong...but i mean i only was there for like 10 min...i havent checked the battery yet but its only like 2 months old...but if the regulator is bad that would explain it i guess...any other ideas guys? thanks all

regulator. same thing happened to me. spring for a new one. cheap, quick fix. if you have a multimeter, you can test your regulator.

Sounds like your regulator is faulty.

(Oh and btw... no need to post the same question in several topics)
