bogging when snapping the throttle
What's up everyone? Finally went riding with the guys after a little break. Everything was good until towards the end when my 900rr starting to act up. The bike would bog pretty bad when I would snap the throttle wide open as if the bike was out of gas then it would just kick in all of a sudden. I was wondering if this is normal on a carburated engine ( snapping the throttle wide open) so I should be easier twisting the wrist, ignition issue, or could be something as stupid as fuel level being too low ( gravity fed vs. fuel pump)?

Could be low fuel if you're in turns when this happens. Chances are you're just gummed up a little or on bad gas. Throw in some fresh gas HIGHEST OCTANE ALWAYS and drop in a touch of HEAT (don't use the whole bottle, adjust for tank size, should be about 1/4 bottle max) and that will clean that up for you.
I was also thinking bout the fuel being low. Noticed about 15-20 miles after the bogging happened that I needed to get my behind to a gas station. And thanks KingMushroom, I'll try a bottle of HEAT.....definitely won't hurt to try. Thanks guys.
This happened to my bike one time. I found that one of my main jets was coming loose in the bowl and when i flixed the throttle it was sucking more fuel then it should in that one carb might wana do a quick chech of the carbs..
