My Cam chain tensioner needs doing. I see you can get either automatic (standard) ones or ones with a bolt to manually tighten it. I read that the manual ones stop the chain slipping during rough handling going down through the gears - any thoughts? Same price.

My personal thoughts are to go automatic - one less thing to worry about and set up.

The bike has plenty of go-faster bits and will be used for (summer) commuting and track days.
