Default Manual Cam Chain Tensioner?

Hi All,
Can anybody give me any more info on these?

Its for a 97/98 CBR600FV.

Thank you, Has anybody out there fitted one? are they any good or am i better of staying with the factory one?

They fit in just like stock. Make sure you read the tutorials carefully to be sure you can perform the required setup and maint on them before you decide to get one.

No problem on the set up or maint here just wanted to know what anybody thought of them. My standard part failed on me and have fitted another to replace it but not impressed with the mechanics behind the stock item. I saw these and thought they sounded like a better design even if then need adjusting.

I like mine, I mean what's not to. As long as you keep it properly adjusted it will be problem free.

CBRWorld.net - OEM CCT MODIFICATION PIC'S he seem to know what he is talking about he has wrote alot on the bb noise check it out and let me know what you think I am going to try it.

I asked my local mechanic about these and he told me NOT to buy a standad one from him but to go and buy one of these manual ones, from what i been told the idea of them is that ones with a spring in arent stiff enough causing the CCT to loose contact with the Cam chain on rapid De-Accelaration and the oil ones like on our bikes push on to the camchain to hard which causes the CCT to wair out faster but these ones can be adjusted to work perfectly all the time
