Nothing goes there.... as petro said, you might stick a screwdriver or drift pin in it when you're breaking the axel nut loose, if the pinch bolts on the forks aren't holding the axel from spinning.... This is unlikely though.....the factory just put that hole there just in case.....

Okay, plastics came in... they look pretty damn good (especially considering they were only $600). The tihng is I've got about three peices I have no clue where they go. The first peice looks like a boomerang, and is concaved on the side of the paint; its straight black. Looks like it might go on the rear end somewhere, but I'm not sure where. The other two are very similar so I'm guessing that they co-incinde together somewhere. they are shaped kind of like L's and are also flat black.

Any help is appreciated. thanks.

The boomerang is the front lower scoop that sits inbetween the lower left and right side fairings, behind the front wheel. They go together as a threesome, forming the belly pan that sits directly below the motor.

The two little L's are fork guards that sit with the front fender. Those didn't show up on the 900RR until '96 I think.

The bigger all-black pieces sit inside the upper cowl, just on the outside of each fork leg. The holes are where the turn signals bolt into.

20 hp? no way.. haha

thanks for the info, I wouldve never guessed the small ones and the "boomerang" wouldve taken me a little while.
I'm still waiting on a bolt kit, but I had to see how they looked on my bike, so I put on one side of the plastics and just kind of hung them there... heres what she'll look like when the bolt kit comes in...roughly..

Still gotta get the tank painted obviously.. and I'm gunna do the wheels orange too.
But yeah, the tail plastics really make the bike look newer because of the way they flare out, I'm really liking it.
Still Don't know if I'm going to paint (black) or polish the frame; or even leave it. Oh, got it running too... runs likea gem now after all the wiring was re-done
