found one for 4500.. tipped over so small scratches on right side.. and about 11K.... wanna know if it was worth it?

 

www.NADA.com, www.KBB.com, or ABOS.com all can help you but i think ABOS will give you the best results (only porb is you may have to ask a bank cause you have to subscribe). From what you have told me i would say honestly $3000 to $3500 ($4000 tops and only if mint) given the age alone with very minor damage.

 

Yea but I see bikes go for a lot more than they should be...I got my 98' 900RR for 2 grand but its a stunt bike clean titled w/ a bunhc of misc extras...Ide say offer the guy like 3-3,500 cant hurt to ask.

 

A solid 4,000 a good price for the mileage. The only thing negotiable is the cosmetic damage.

I bought my 99 900RR for $4000 mint 3 years ago. And belive it or not the color does make a diffrence, the yellow goes for more than the black.

 

I bought my 99 900rr for $3800 for this summer. Bike is mint condition never dropped no scratches at all, its a black\white\red(orange) color. had 15200 when i bought it. 4500 is a bit much for a scratched up bike i think. i agree with the 4000 since it has decent milage on it. But if something like the gearbox cover is scratched up then you can prbly hit him for some more money. a fairing is easy to replace but covers are anoying.

 

i paid 4k for my 99 with minor cosmetic damage. and 11k miles
