Default wondering if a 99 900rr will mount up in my 95 900rr

I spun three crank bearings last season at the end and I just found a 99 engine for my bike.....Have any of you guys ever heard stories spun crank bearings? I'm just trying to get an idea of what my options are at this point. I know that when I spun the bearings it groved the case and the oil pan but I haven't looked into fixing the existing block. Iv'e just been shopping aroung for a new engine. Any help is much appreciated. You guys keep it sunnyside up and enjoy the sun while its out.

im sure the 99 engine will bolt up, i dont think to much changed wit the rr besides body work. u can get a engine fairly cheap amd im sure if anything u would do miner mods. try it the engine will always resale itself if it doesnt bolt up.

they are different displacements 893 for 95 and 919 for the 99. So some has changed, I am not sure how much though. I have never tried the swap so i am no sure if it is a direct fit but i have heard of it being done with out much work.

yes it will bolt up if your bike has a speedo cable on the front rim you can even use your wire harness
