Default 96 CBR900 mirror ideas

I'm about done doing a resto-mod on a 96 CBR900RR Erion style bike. I picked up a cheap set of hong kong carbon fiber look mirrors and nto really happy with them. Any one have any ideas of any good billet style mirrors that would fit in the stock mounting locations. I love the look of the Tomahawk mirrors but they don't have any mounting adapters for a bike this old.

Targa makes direct replacements...mini carbon fiber race mirror...a bit costly than cheaper HK ones but well with it...no vibrations.

I am looking at some Targa mirrors.... They don't have to be carbon look. I have a ton of true carbon fiber parts on the bike now. What I saw were interesting was the adjustable length alum. powder coated mirrors Targa has. Saw some for sale on ebay. If I can't find anything else I'll probably get those. The hong kong ones are really cheap looking,,(what do you get for under $20 right).

Here, I got these for a 94:

CBR900RR TARGA Monza Mirrors Gloss Carbon Look + New Mirror Mounts 1991 - 1994 | eBay

but then, this one is not carbon but fitment is for 93-97:

CBR900RR TARGA Monza Mirrors Set Gloss Black + New Mirror Mounts 1993 - 1997 | eBay

this is weird, try calling them & check if the 94 Vs. 96 interchangeable? If yes,

the base in my tool box should be for a 98-99....

All I remember is that I order mirror for a 94', the one TARGA sent me did not fit (base), so they send me an extra 94 base, install directly, then attached the mirror.

Thanks for the links.... The one thing I don't like about those are that they are shorter than stock. I almost can't use the stock ones due to only being able to look at my elbows. If nothing else comes up I'll keep those in mind.

Thanks again,

Nick

If you find a mirror you like, I can machine you up a mount to fit anything.

Thanks for the machining offer. I think I found a set of adjustable Targa's that look pretty good and should work.

I posted 1 before and 2 after pictures in a different thread. Ended up going with Targa spotbike adjustable length mirrors. Did the trick.
