I checked the battery while idling with a multimeter and it seems to be keeping the charge ok no under or overcharging ?

Try a continuity check at the plug coming away from the R/R. Unplug and test back to the unit. I believe shouldn’t be any. From memory it’s three yellows ( I think ?)
Best of luck mate

Hi, did you get this sorted? I have a similar issue. The bike sounds like its running on 3 cylinders. It has been parked for 5 years. Have tried everything else. What are the rectifier issues?
Thanks

Default Clanking noise during cold start

so I recently got a 1999 cbr900rr, this is my 2nd bike ever. And I notice when I start it and the bike hasn't warmed up there's a knocking sound in, the engine, after the bikes temp reach about 130 too 135 there's no noise and it runs and rides great, so after reading some post and talking to some ppl I was thinking the cam tensioner could be going. I'd prefer to go with the ome 8 think over having to manually adjust things my self. But in a lil lost on exactly what part id be replacing.
