Hi All, really sorry if everyone knows this and I'm being a numpty for not knowing but the best rubber isn't out there anymore for my 916 model X 99/00 year so, thinking of a front wheel swap to a 17 inch. So 1 - anyone done it and regretted it? 2 - what am I looking for that has same spoke design and specs (will be powdered and new bearings so colour not an issue) and takes the brake discs and the like - I think its from a 600 F4 but not 100%? and 3 - with my basic maths, is it 3mm I raise the forks through the yoke? Really hope you all can help. Cheers

Mine had it done when I bought it, it widens your choice of tyres and should be a bit less nervous on turn in, especially tipping into roundabouts, most that do the conversion think it’s a worthwhile mod.
