You HAVE TO get the PCIII and an air filter if you go with the full exhaust. The most performance gain from a full exhaust comes from the elimination of the cat. In a general term, air/fuel in must be balanced with exhaust out. If the exhaust is coming out faster then the air/fuel is going in, it will throw the motor off balance, causing it to run lean, and more dangerously, hotter. The PCIII richens up the fuel mixture to put the motor back in alignment, but this time making more power.

The gains are pretty marginal though, I did all the research before deciding on a slip on. The whole exhaust is cool, and it sounds baaad, however if you went jogging and lost ten pounds, it would pretty much be the same performance wise. Its power to weight, not power. For the additional money in the full exhaust, the filter, the tune, and the fact that you are no longer running a stock motor. A stock motor that the brainiacs at honda put billions of hours into perfecting, for what like six horsepower? Personally I would rather have the two crank confidence knowing that shes gonna kick over in a heartbeat every single time then to have a little more power at 14k on the tach.

Go with the slip on, the filter, and then start on your gearing and drive system, you'll get a bigger bang for your buck that way.
