Bike broke down while on highway recently which was due to low fuel in tank, i.e started up right away after topping up fuel.

Low fuel indicator had been on for 70kms before breaking down.

After filling up I realised that I only added 15.8L until it was full which means I had 2.6 approx. L left in tank at time of breakdown. since total is 18.4L

I also have previously driven the bike to 1.5L remaining several times without any problems.

I am wondering if is there now a problem with my bike, Im thinking maybe the reserve fuel inlet may be blocked or not working (AFAIK gets triggered automatically when low fuel is activated)

Anyone have any idea what the problem may be and how I can fix it?
