Fuel
Hi guys,
I own a 2001 Superblackbird. In spesifications the fuel tank is 21l. Lots of time my fuel indicator start flashing, what it means I'm low on fuel. But I can't fill up more than 16 or 17 litres of petrol. Any idea how can I use all 21 litres? Or when the indicator start flashign it means I still have 4-5 l fuel? thanx

You can use your trip meter more than the fuel gauge/low fuel light. Just know roughly how many km you can get out of a tank and then get fuel when you're close to that magic number. You can use the low fuel indicator as a reminder to check your trip meter...
That's pretty much how I handle my 1000F. It says I'm in the red and need fuel when I have about 5-6l left. That's how I have to handle my KLR, too. I don't have an option because there is no gauge/light at all...
190miles and I know I need fuel. Around 210, I'm switching to reserve....
You may be able to somehow adjust your gauge inside the tank, but I'm not sure how... or if it's possible.
