Should read 12.5or so charged without the key on. The real test is to see what itdrops to when trying the start the bike though. If it drops below 11 volts under load, it's toast.
Just out of curiosity, have you tried to jump it from avehicle with a known good battery and some jumper cables? If not, give it a shot but make sure the vehicle's motor is not running.

RE: wont start?? help...
Before I say anything... I just got my first bike which happens to be a 2004 CBR600RR. So when I give advice just keep that in mind because by no means am I as experienced as most people here.
However, I did have this EXACT same problem. Turn the key, sounds like it's charged and ready to roll... hit the ignition and nothing but a rapid clicking under the seat. At first I thought it was a loose connection or fuse. That was all fine. I read up on how to charge the battery by using your car battery and took that step. *Note that as doncollins said a 1.5 amp is recommended* The Charge held for about an hour. Charged again.... Less than an hour. Everyone I talked to said it was the battery so after discovering that the 600rr has one of the most exspensive batteries I wasn't too thrilled to buy one. Picked one up at Interstate Batteries for about $150.00 including tax. Now the clicking's completely gone and it holds it's charge.
I hope you don't HAVE to buy one but as a last resort you may have to. Also, according to interstate the average sportbike battery lifetime is between 13-18 months depending on how often you use it. I hope this helped.
