Aside from tire pressure, it's the bike geometry. CBRs have a geometry that tends to favor stability while an R6 has geometry that favors turn-in. To make my race bike turn-in faster, I changed the ride height... dropped the front end 8mm. Some caution, though. Dropping the front, or raising the rear, too much will cause the bike to want to push or tuck the front end.

 

Well I was just talking to my buddy about this yesterday, only it was the oppisite. My old bike was a katana 750 and I really had to put my *** into it. With my 03 600RR I am finding myself over steering and leaning. Love it!!!!
