i like to ride because it gives me time to think and to relax. it is my way to get rid of all the stress around me. thats why i ride.
hahah, you funny, what the f%*^ do you think about when you ride? i usually think about not crashing. i do not allow myself to drift off mentally but i dont know how the traffic situation is in your area. may be, you do have that kind of time to do your taxes in your head while your doing a stoppie... no disrespect intended but what you wrote was rather funny to me...

big ups to 13br, he took all my quotes and he understands that the writings are deeply embedded truths........heh

I always wanted to ride, and now having had my bike a year, I love it more than I thought I would have.

I enjoy the twisties, slow corners and practicing being smooth. Getting on and off the throttle and flicking
the bike without giving myself and 'oh-****' moment. I think we'd all agree that when you get home from a good ride,
you really feel like you've done something. Driving a car is so passive, but riding these babies really makes you
work.

I support riding safety, use as much sensible gear as possible,Ialways wave, and always rev it up for kids in the back seat of a car beside me ( I remember being that kid ). No wheelies or stunts, and I only drink on my couch. I have come to terms with the fact that the limits of this bike (06 600RR) are well beyond my own, and I ride accordingly.

I love the freedom, and the ability for a good ride to fix almost any 'work-related' problems or frustrations. Exploring new roads is awesome, even when occassionally it becames a gravel road ! Seeing my own (gradual) improvements is cool and I really look forward to my first track day - hopefully this summer.

Oh yeah, andmean people suck.

+1 On the Nose.My black 06 600rr is well past my own skill at this time.I think anything that can almost be layingon its sideat 160+ mph can never be truly tamed. On another note anyone who thinks they have tamed those 1000's just make me laugh and Ihope they don't end up dead. I agrree with the last part, mean people do suck.

To me there is nothing better than going out on a nice day and cruising. I like riding solo the majority of the time and not having to wait on people or worry about some one going down. Its happened be for. A buddy of mine was on a SV650 trying to keep up with us and put it in a ditch. Turned out to be a bad day.

Riding solo makes me feel like I'm alone to do what I want. It's the best way I know to releive stress.
I also like gettin on it. I usually ride pretty mellow but sometimes you got to run from the police.
