Default bike wont START...?

OK, so my bike has been sitting since OCT. 06.
Lay'd my bike down and crackd the stator cover...
Finally got around to changing the stator cover and oil.
but the bike wont start... have power, and the starter sounds like its functioning properly..
HOW ever, on the first start, it turned over once and then stopped ...

Is the battery low, could it possibly be a fuel problem.

ANY help would be greatly appreciated

I would get a battery tender and let the battery charge for a day. If that doesnt work, might be a coil or something from the drop.

It could be that you fouled your spark plugs, it happens. When you try to crank it do you get any kind of ignition sound, or does it just sit there and turn over, can you hear your fuel pumpprime when you turn the kill switch on?
