Default What Do You Guys Think To This...

Hey guys,

New to the bike world and I'm currently looking at my first purchase.
Just wondering if you think this looks like a good deal?

2008 Honda CBR 600 RR-8. Contact Andy Tooes | eBay

If so, what things should I be looking for when I go for a viewing and what questions should I ask?

Any help would be great, many thanks!
Jon

Interesting paintjob. Question aftermarket parts but don't be afraid of them as most people are. Make sure it is exactly what you want, there will alway be another bike so don't settle because you want one now; find the right one for YOU! And welcome to the forum, tons of info here; and lastly cbrs that are well maintained are near bulletproof. Have fun shopping around.

the paint is standard, nothing special.

it's a low mileage bike with 1 previous owner. hasn't even needed its 6000 mile service yet.

compare the price to similar age bikes and if you like it buy it.

Good deal? Perhaps... depends on your local market. In my area that would be considered high.
Good idea for first bike? Probably not... though I'm not going to tell you not to start on a SS because it would be hypocritical. Good luck!
