OK so, i purchased a second hand 600rr with a Scorpio alarm, and hids lights, everything else was stock; it started OK. then i decided to buy a two brothers exhaust and installed that, then it didn't want to start. i pulled everything back out to make sure the wires weren't pinching, it didn't start on the battery, but it did on 2nd gear. so a couple days later i took off the alarm and checked the battery readings( it read 12.79) and put everything back together, and it started fine. then 2-3 days later it went back to the same story, when i hold the starter button it struggles like the battery is dead and starts after holding it. what could be the problem?

 

voltage on a battery could read good and the battery still be bad. 1st double check the leads on the battery are tight. If so, pull it and have it checked at a auto parts store
