trouble shifting from 1st to 2nd.
I own a 2006 CBR600RR, had it since it was 1 year old, 2900kms. It has now done 6700kms. I have noticed that recently it has become noticeable more difficult to shift from 1st to 2nd gear smoothly. Sometimes it feels a little sticky as you attempt to change out of first, as if something is holding it back. At lower revs this is not so evident, and it can feel quite normal, but at higher RPM it definately feelsdifferent - occasionally it wont pull out of first, almost as if there is still load on the transmission. I've adjusted the clutch freeplay a few times - it is definately within spec, and all other gear changes are as normal. Any ideas anybody? I really hope I don't have a transmission problem. I baby my bike, so this is quite upsetting really.
Thanks in advance for any comments.

RE: trouble shifting from 1st to 2nd.
If she is changing ok under low load without issue ... ?
It may be the cable , but it also may be the clutch its self needs adjusting...?
It also may be rider error ?
On my old girl (1000F)especially if I am racing her up hill and pushing her , she gets a bit tight in the gear box and needs a little bit of an extra hard thump on the shifter to make sure she goes in the first time.
If you had a shifter fork or bad selector issue, I would think she would be a bit weird even under minimal load ?
Are you good with the mechanical stuff on the 600's?
I am no 600 expert by any stretch of the imagination ..
