Default Tire life

I am wondering how long I should expect my tires to last. I have the stock Bridgestones. I know it will vary depending on road conditions and riding habits. I was just wondering if people could chime in with how long theirs tend to last and give some info on how they ride so I could get some ideas about what to expect. Thanks.

you kind of said it your self . i ride pretty hard most the time . dont do burnouts and do a wheelie from time to time . i'v had my bike about a month and 2 weeks and i'v put 3500 miles on my bike and i'm doing ok .. probly in about another 1k i'll need a new tire . most will say they will last about 4k but it really depends on your type of riding

So far, I'm rockin' about 5.5K miles. I can't say for the front, at about a grand I got a nail in the DEAD CENTER of my front tire, so I replaced it. The back tire is showing some heavy chicken-stripping. It's not gone yet... but I would say in the next 1K I'm going to be buying a new one... or before if I scrap together final gear pieces to get in some track days for the first time. This is under daily driving, no real wheelies (though heavy acceleration from time to time) on regular street roads.

3,600 miles on the dunlop qualifiers. gonna go big for the next rear tire and get the michelin pilot power race tire with dual compound, md/sft. which means medium compund in the middle and soft on the sides. guaranteed to stick to anything. i hope

I ride on Pilot Powers. The last PP rear I had on lasted for 6,250 miles. The front PP has about 11,000 miles on it and it's time for a new one. RIght now I'm on a PP 2ct rear that has lasted just over 5k miles, and I expect it will last to about 6,500 miles or so.
