No offense taken. But Honestly its not my body position. I have leaned over the front and it still comes up without a hiccup when I get on it.

Also according to sportrider the 600RR has more torque than the GSX-R600, R6 and ZX-6R only losing to the Daytona 675. http://www.sportrider.com/dyno/146_s...photo_130.html

I stand corrected on the torque values..

Haha, nice. I don't have a problem keeping the front end down unless I got WoT, but on any sports bike that's an invitation to power wheelie. Still, the torque is enough to make you feel like you're going to fly off if you don't hold on tight.

As long as you respect the bike you should be fine.

Well i've just gone from an '02 F4i to an 09 600rr - I wish I could offer some more feedback but I have a solid hour and a half or so of seat time on the RR! hah.

The 600rr certainly feels like it has some guts, but I certainly didn't feel like it was in danger of pulling power wheelies . Granted I didn't smash it down quite yet on my ride home.

As my dad said "Once you get it into the higher RPM range its not well behaved at all"
I guess it's a matter of self control that will keep the wheel planted.

Ok so here is my opinion on your questions ..
03-04 RR ---First years production run of the 600RR.. great bike! I love them.. will run with a 900RR.. has the standard forks though.. unless you are a pro rider that reallllly doesn't make a difference in anything because they handle everything you could want to through at them for street riding and they are EASY to rebuild if you blow a seal or any other componant. the ride for most on longer rides untill you get use to it "and this goes for ALL RR's" will kill your butt... I am use to it and can ride for ever without noticing it.

The 05-06 600RR is just slightly upgraded.. same powerplant and a facia upgrage " I personally like the 03-04 nose" and inverted forks .. again very fast and nimble bike that will run with alot of liter bikes in the right hands.

07-current bikes.. lots of changes that result "due to emmission purposes" in a lighter bike but lower power output.. still fast and still a great bike but IMO you would be better off with a 06 or older model.

The Triumph.. is AWESOME to say the least .. I will still take my RR over it any day of the week though.. very torque .. I would say from my personal experiance about the equivilant of a GSXR 750 or maybe even your 900RR "never riden a 900RR"
parts are a bit more expensive for the triumph as well which should of course be another consideration on your part.

I have ridden a 09 ZX6-R and they are good bikes too.. not too much to say about it, had good power and handles well.. seemed to me a little more "heavy" though in comarision ..

What it boils down to is basically just like shopping for a fire arm.. dont buy because it looks good or because others say its better than the next .. as long as it feels good to you.. get it
