is the 2005 600rr subframe the same as the 2004? they look slightly different in the ron ayers diagrams but when i look on ebay, etc,
they're advertised as fitting models 2003-2005. r and r racing has one for sale as fitment for 2004-2005, (one photo).
will a 05 bolt up identically to an 04? thanks.

 

03/04 are the same and 05/06 are the same. But, they will bolt up to the frame. beware the seat mounting points are different as are the exhaust and tail mounting points on the subframe itself.

 

In addition to what Jason said, the undertrays are different. I also believe there is a difference in how the rear brake resevoir mounts.
