Default sprockets and chain

i have a 06 600 rr and i just went a tooth down in the frount and two teeth up in the back.. i was just wondering how bad this would throw off my mileage and speed.... does it make the gauge cluster read that it has more miles on it then it actually does ?... and should i purchase a speedohealer?

a speedohealer is a good idea for even a stock geared bike

your combo will make the speedometer read faster than you are really going

get a speedo healer and have it clocked at different speeds to find out the average error and then go to the speedohealer website to get the programming switch code

I think your milage will go up. If your speedo reads 70 mph, and your really doing 60mph, then in one hour your bike is going to say it has 70 miles instead of 60.

yes the speedohealer will also compensate for mileage as well
when you go to their website to determine the correction value is will ask you the % speedo error and wether you want it to calibrate for speed, mileage, or both

just repeatedly drive by a "this is how fast you are going" sign, and record the speed on the gauge, and your actual speed, divide one into the other, and this is the % error. in other words, if it says youre going 36 and youre going 40, you take 36/40, which is 0.9, which means your speedo is off by 10%. same thing i always deal with when i run big tires on my truck, except the error is positive instead of negative.
