For me, there's aslight jolt at 3k, but the only time I really feel it is the first time I pull away when I begin the ride, and this is 1st gear only. Everything else is butter smooth. It's funny to be mentioned, cause when I pull away from my house, 1st gear, I wait for the 'slight jolt' before I lower my helmet visor. Just part of the fun!!! LOL
