So my friend's friend has an 06 cbr600rr with the orange and tribal flames. It has 2100 miles on it, with chrome rims, full carbon fiber exaust, mapping chip and the works. I believe its also ported and polished. It has been layed down at really low speed before but he bought the new fairing. So is this a good deal or should i hold off? I was gonna buy an 06 r6 but this would be faster. Anyways before i go and talk serious with this guy i wanna know what to think. He is about to lose it since he lost his job so im hoping i can work his price down pretty decently. This is the color i love on these bikes too.

Whoops, hes asking 6100, which is what he owes on it. I donno if i can get pics, its in storage an hour away, so i have to be serious if i wanna see it, so i was trying to feel it out, seems good to me since it has all the extras i want like the color, chrome rims, full exaust with carbon fiber end, chip. i guess its about as fast as my buddies suzuki 1000 TL. so what you think??

Yea but the downfall of the 07 you suggest is the stock word... Also the 07 is not the orange tribal. The orange tribal is awesome and super metallic and is just a nice scheme, too rich for my blood but still sharp lookin. The price is definately a good deal. I would say make a move and try to pull him down into the 5's

 

Yeah my parents are gonna go crazy when i pull out a student loan for it. but i only got 1.5 to go and only got 5000 out so might as well get that bike, figure i won't lose to much money on it. plus orange tribal+chrome rims+carbon exaust will just be hot.

 

^^ Take out a little more and make sure you buy yourself some gear and riding classes.
