A friend of mine just crashed. He is ok just a broke ankle and a small spot of RoadRash on his arm. Problem is we have some wires we don't know were they go and we can't figure out why when we hook up a battery it tries to start on its own. We unhooked all the controls on the clip-ons and it still rolls over but doesn't fire. I want to get it to stop so I can see if the fuel pump is working. Someone please help. If it help there is only 1700 miles on the bike and all the wiring looks good.

So it turns over without pressing the start button and it turns over with everything off the front, lights, speedo, start button and so on?

 

Ok so I figured out a few things. There are two wires I thought were the battery wires were actually the wires comming from the fuze panel that go to the starter, So when I hooked them up to the battery it rolled the starter. I need a fuze panel and maybe a diagram of what wires are what.
