shift kit?

RE: shift kit?
If you time it just right adn your rpm's are right where they need to be you'll be able to shift into 2nd in a wheelie without using the clutch. While in the wheelies keep some pressure on the underside of the shift peg and it'll loosen up a bit when it's ready to shift. Give it a quick kick up and it'll pop in. I really don't recommend shifting while in a wheelie though, just a personal grudge

Haha... you got that right OneWheelinRR. If you don't time it just right and get the rpm's back where they need to be after the shift you'll nose dive everytime. If you're concerned about running out of power band in first, either change your gearing around so you can power wheelie in 2nd (try hopping if you need to) or clutch it up in 2nd. As far as reaching balance point (bp) however, if you pop it up high enough in 1st gear and get into BP zone... you won't have to worry about shifting (unless of course you want to get going faster while in the wheelie). I recommend starting in 2nd gear standing on the pegs, but stagger the pegs. Leave your right foot on the rider peg, and your left foot on the passenger peg. Clutch and/or hop power wheelie at that point. It'll feel awkward at first standing like that, but in the long run your balance will be much easier to maintain. Be safe, have fun!
