There is no correct answer to your question. Keep in mind that these books are written by people who all have different riding styles. Some aspects of their riding will match your style well, other aspects will not. I'm not saying these books won't be helpful, but the best you can do with these books is read them and take from them what makes sense to you. There are some things that each of these authors will disagree with each other on.

From a readability perspective, Keith Code has got to be the worst author ever! You'll be reading paragraphs 3 or 4 times over wonder WTF he's trying to say. Nick Ientasch's book is written very well.

Don't bother with Twist of the Wrist, it's not worth it, just get Twist of the Wrist 2 that will have everything you need. And fish is correct about reading it, it's very, very dry.

Sport riding Techniques is very good as well.

Keith Code was down here at the local track for a very small school (BYOB-Bring Your Own Bike). Didn't take the class, but met Kieth. Pretty cool dude, knows his stuff, and he gave me a few pointers. I do agree that the book is rather dry reading (but then again, what book isn't), try getting a video. Don't know of any off the top of my head, but I know there HAS to be some out there somewhere.

I'm a visual learner, so I like videos and pretty pictures..............and flashing lights.
