powder coating. suggestions on color scheme

Default powder coating. suggestions on color scheme

tomorrow i am bringing my swing arm and the foot pegs and passenger pegs to be powder coated. the swing arm is goin black for sure, but cant decide if i want the all the pegs black and the rest of the peg such as what holds the pegs on orange or the opposite of that. any suggestions would b greatly appreciated

I think I would say all black....

What ever you end up doing make sure you post pics because I have the same bike and plan to do something very similar.

this is crazy dude. i got the tribal orange cbr and im powder coating my swing arm black and pretty much getting rid of all silver. got to see pics when your done. im putting my painting of for a little while . im buying v stacks new filter new tires getting tuned again then the paint. but let me see what it looks like so ill know before i do it . also are you getting new swing arm bearings? i heard you need to do that after powder coat??????? please get back to me asap pm me

yea i just got back from droppin it off. the price wasnt too bad. i only paid $210. i went with everything black except the foot pegs and heel gaurds i went orange. it should be done anywhere from 7 to 10 days. ill keep you guys posted on when i should have pics up. ill send you a PM. and for the bearings, yea most likely u will need new ones. you gotta figuer its going into a 400 + degree oven. but those arent too bad. and if you havent taken he swing arm off yet you will need a new master link for your chain. i just grinded mine off. unless you have the tool to do it. n the tool costs abut $100 so ide say your better off breaking it off n gettin a new one. and a new master link costs about $7 so its not bad
