These pics were taken on my first trip with my baby. It was a camping trip at Sandbanks Provincial Park in Picton, Ontario.

These pics are the damage after I flipped it avoiding a taxi that cut me off. Fairly minor damage, she'll be as good as new at the end of February or early March.

Hopefully I will have some more pics once the season starts.

next time maybe you will think about wearing some gear. All that could have been prevented with a simple jacket and pants. Brand new bike but no jacket kills me. Glad to see your in one piece

Wow, lucky is right.Where's the gear?

Sorry to hear about your misfortunebut glad you were able to walk away in one piece. Maybe next time you'll have proper gear for yourself (Jacket, Riding Pants, Gloves, Boots,Helmet, andBack Support)and your bike. (Frame Sliders, Axle protectors, Swing-arm spoolsand Bar-ends)

Are you doing an insurance claim or fixing it yourself?

+1 to the gear lecture. I'm sure your pain is enough to make you realize it's importance. Glad you weren't hurt worse.

I normally do wear the gear (jacket and gloves jeans and boots). I had just figured a quick run to work would be fine. Not a mistake I am likely to repeat. I am doing all of the work myself, the $200 difference between my deductible and the parts was less to pay than the increase in my rates. I am looking at using 08 fairings instead of the 07s... the designs on them are a little more pleasing to the eye.
