i blew out the left side fork seal on my 06 600rr and i was wondering if i'm going to need any special tools to replace it? i've never replaced one before but i'm pretty mechanically inclined and i feel confident that i can do it right. also would it be easier to pull the fork off completely or can i do it with the fork on the bike? i've been searching thru this forum and haven't been able to find too much help.

 

See if the bike is still under the warranty and them fix it for you.

 

That is a warrenty item. They will fix it once under warrenty and after that it is general maintenance. Since you have an 06' its definitely still under warrenty.

 

Blew a fork seal already?! Either you're dropping your wheelies down REAL hard or you've definately got a faulty seal... call em out on a warranty replacement either way.
