Wow...so ive been slackin on makin a feable attempt to replace my fork seals on my 97 F3. Had the worst time gettin the axle pinch bolts off. (actually needed to take it to a shop cuz i stripped like 3 bolts). Finally got the forks off and everything and props to the guys on here from other posts about how to do it yourself. Right now i have the forks apart and chillin in my garage drying. Next weekend everything goes back in. Along with new EBC rotors and pads. Should be a fun job. And to my suprise i took my time and laid everythin out once i got em apart and it wasnt that bad at all. Im not sure why the shop i asked a price for was chargin 350 for em. Pictures and maybe even my own post of how i did it to follow. I think im gettin hooked....burn rubber not your soul!!!

 

Sweet man! Sounds awesome! I've gotta replace my seals on my '95 F3.. Are there any tips ya have? Did you just use regular shop tools? I've heard many versions of how people just *talk* about it when they've never done it. I thought i'd ask someone that has actually done it.
