so i have heard several different schools of thought on the topic, but want to see what everyone thinks. L.E.D.s cool not cool, legal not legal. also the fender eliminator kits (ie. clear alternatives) how are they? look pretty cool but heard they are hard to see at night. last thing. mounting the license plate under the undertail. how did everyone do it? thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I'm assuming you mean led turn signals? If so, I have them. They are street legal, but are hard to see during the day, however bright at night. One problem is that if you put all led signals, the blinker relay speeds up considerably. My signals look like they aren't blinking they blink so fast. As for fender eliminators, they usually have the license plate bracket attached, and make the back end look a lot better. For the ones without the bracket, you have to buy the assembly seperately.

 

i was thinking neons when i said leds. like under bike kits and under plastic kits. what do you think?

 

Neons are legal so long as they are not red or blue if visible from the front. As for cool, if you go for the flashy at night ricer thing, go for it.

 

LED is kinda dangerous. I had them on my 00 accord coupe, and it has killed the relays and ****. Now sometimes they hyperblink with regular PIAA bulbs. They look ****in sick at night, but in all reality, i have burned out so many sets of LEDs its not worth it. Imma just go with flat side markers on front, and probably fender kill the back, just lookin for the cleanest way to do it, then gotta get a slip on carbon pipe and HID low beam.
