I'm kind of new to the forum, I have been lurking around here for a couple of months but had not posted untyl now:
I JUST BOGHT MY SPANKING NEW CBR 600RR!! I absolutley love this thing. this IS my first bike (i knew how to ride before, just hadn't owned one. ) On my list of things to get, the 1st one is chasis sliders, (I'm not stupid enogh to think that i will be the only rider in history not to put down the bike at least once)and I want to protect my new baby.

Anyway i wanted to drop in, introduce myself and post some pictures. Also being a new owner any tips, tricks and experiences on how to make my bike more enjoyable, last longer and any thing else in between is welcome.

 

She's pretty. What's her name? I own her twin, Harmony. LOL.

Nice bike man. DEFINATELY get those frame sliders. Had my parents backed into mine the other day when I was visiting. Just from it falling over (and having frame sliders), it caused almost 300 bucks worth of damage. So those are a must. It sucks that we all have to drill through our fairings though.

Great choice of colors and model. (2006 look better that the 2007's in my opinion) but I'll have to see it in person first.

Anyway, welcome to the forum. You'll spend hours on here, look up at the clock and go "5 in the morning already?", as you probabaly already have experienced. lol.

Not much of a car (because I bought my bike instead on a new car), but it gets me where I want when I'm not riding.

I still havent named her, but I'm thinking of someware along the lines of Helen (in honor to my yet unborn child :-) Just posting this makes me want to go out for a little spin, too bad it's 12 AM and I dont think my wife will apreciate me leaving in the middle of the night for a ride LOL :-)

 

I'm still like that. I'll go out into the garage, peer at my little Harmony sitting there quietly, go back inside and suit up for a ride. lol. I've already put on 4300 miles and I've only had it for 3 months now. LOL.
