Charles, you should look into Rider Insurance. I live in NJ and thats what i have. i payed $455 for liability last year and when i turn 21 in march that will go down to $173 a year. if i wanted to buy a new bike with full coverage now it would cost me over $2k to insure it, but when i turn 21, it will only be $950 for full coverage. thats for a 600cc. if i decide to opt for a liter bike, i will pay $193 for just liability (when im 21) and WHOAAA.......about $3k for full coverage. My record is pretty clean and i plan on getting a new bike in march and pay the $950 a year. i think its worth it. Then when i turn 25, those prices all drop again. So alot of insurance quotes are based on age and size of the bike. of course it helps if you have a clean driving record. if you live in NJ i reccommend going to www.njrider.com and calling them. Charles, if you want to get a bike, or already have one, hopefully its old enough to get just liability until you are older. i bought a 1992 CBR 600 F2 and i knew liability would be fine because i didnt pay that much for it and if i were to wreck it, i would just fix it myself. Wow i typed alot. yea so use Rider.

wow i just read your last post, if you are 24 with a good record, you should have a pretty low price for insurance. do you plan on financing new with full coverage and old and just liability? sorry if that was answered already
