run upon a 03 954 today with 8300 miles ..good shape mostly stock..price 3800.00 is that good or should i try to get it lower..thankss

 

Always try and get it lower! $3800 isnt bad for the mileage on it. If its clean with no mech issues. I would roll with it.

 

I would go for it! I paid $3,500 for my 02. 40,000 miles on it, 14,000 since motor was freshened up. Plus lots of upgrades that I wanted.
They are great bikes

I'd offer them 3300 cash see what they say. Either way it sounds like a good deal. I paid 3700 for my 02 with 9400 miles september 2010.

 

thats almost too good too be true make sure u look it over very good and take it for a ride i just picked up; a original owner 03 954 with 2600 miles and i paid 6000 the bike was also in showroom condition

 

That's a pretty good price ! ... but like it's been said, be sure to give the bike a THOROUGH once-over man ... you could have yourself a great deal on your hands here ....

 

How do you guys find this stuff? Last three 954s I looked at were all priced over $5k and blue book is $4k. I talked one guy down to $4600 for a stock bike with 17000mi and I just can't get myself to buy it.

If I came across a stock 954 with 8300 miles on it for $3800, I'd be riding a 954.
