No prob. Just remember to try and get a deal where they will throw in some gear or give you a huge discount on gear. There is no point owning a bike without the proper gear.

I would also take a MSF course if you have not already done it.

And get some pics as soon as you get it!!!!

hey guys/gals... i also have a question. i'm in MI and i'm being quoted at 9675+tax for base 08 cbr600rr.. i noticed people mentioning the deals coming out of southern honda in TN. so my question is: 1. would it be worth it to see if they would give me a good deal and ship the bike to me (roughly 9 hours away) and 2. is it possible to do a complete transaction over the phone/fax. because i want this deal considering it would be $1500 less, but i dont want to make the trip down there. what are your guys' thoughts??

I suggest you get a USED bike as your first bike. There are WAY better deals out there. I picked up a 2006 CBR600RR with 6k miles, a trailer, helmet, gloves, jacket, boots, spare oil, and tow straps all for 6k out the driveway (:
may i say that the bike doesnt have evern one minor scratch or wear and tear marks!

If you are not experienced yet, start used and find a fairly new bike for MUCH less. A bike that is about a year old will be marked down MAJORLY from a new price. Check craigslist and the for sale section on here and 600rr.net... also check the cycle trader...

Anybody know where to go in Texas? DFW honda is gay and the dude thinks I'm a retard, tried telling me the 08 600 rr is a drastic difference between my 900rr, that he claimed weighed around 590 lbs, laughable that is for sure! Also tried saying the 600rr has 150hp and no dampener which i tried correcting him but he said it doesn't have it and I just wanted to see how big of an **** he'd let himself be.
