The cbr is known for its midrange and streetability. Gixxers are not. The gearing has a lot to do with it. Also I think suzuki and honda know what they are doing with the motors... I do not reccomend pulling things out...

gxers have such a bad rep because anyone and everyone who wants a bike, or wants to look cool, buys the first thing that loods fast. when you think honda and you dont konw the powersports honda wings, your thinkin civic... not 6sexyrr. they all think.. ninja! or suzuki!! or hayubusa!! (yes i have many a friends that i talk daily out of buying new busas) they dont know what cc means, they dont know good bikes, and they want to look cool ... thats it.

how many people here have heard "i want a 1000, 600s are too slow," from a newb? they think more cc's means better

 

closed courses? no we stunt the streets or empty roads. wherever the cops won't bother us. there really is no place to stunt because of where i live. plus the cops are all ****** here.....but thats prob everywhere with bikers
