Default well i hate to say it, but ive tested the R&G sliders..*UPDATE*

and they worked..

long story short a mistake on my part sent my rear end sliding out on a left hand turn at about 40.

i have the R&G no cut frame sliders and swingarm sliders.

my damage report...

minor scuffing of the left side stator cover.
left side mirror broke off near the mount.
major scratches to the paggenger seat plastic cover thingy.
scratches to the left side turn signals.
left side bar end (whoop de doo, i got R&G's already on order coming this week)
clutch handle scuffed (LOL)
left peg minor scuff (LOL)

thing that i though would be destroyed but were in perfect conditon:
gas tank cover OK
left side lower, mids, uppers OK
swingarm OK

a quality investment that saved me over 5x's what i paid for them..

will get pics tomorrow, since i just got back from the ER (just lots of road rash)

have to say, it was funny to remember seeing it go spinning down the road on the sliders LOL

NOICE!!!! what's the extent of your road rash? is it just lower body, or were you not wearing a jacket?

Glad you are ok. Plastics you can replace.

I was out today and I saw three bikes that had been down. One guy was still in the sand when we passed him, we went back to check it out and he was totally cool, just lost the back and went sandsurfing for a little bit. The other two were some guys we ran into like an hour later, who incidentally had fallen in the same spot... One went down and the other ride right into him. Really windy today on the right coast, sand all over the roads... We slowed down a bit after seeing that.
