welp howdy guys.. im new to this.. i will be getting a new cbr in jan. im so excited! im just kinda mad cuz i don't know which to get between the gsxr or the cbr but i think i have my heart set on the cbr.. hands down it looks better.. and iv'e read that it is a couple 10th's of a second faster not that it matters really im sure they all built to run with eachother.. im sure its the rider who can ride the best =) this will be my first bike.. i took my test on an r6.. the guy said i was gonna fail it cause i told him that it was the first bike i have every rode.. I PROVED HIM WRONG lol.. well i just wanted to say hey to everyone and i hope u guys can help me out if i have any questions!

I agree with RepSolRider, why you gotta wait till January? If you have even the slightest bit of financial means necessary, you should just do it. I speak from personal experience. I wanted to get a bike for like the past 4 years, and I kept sayin' "I'll wait till I finish paying off my credit cards" or something else like that. Then before you know it, right when your bank account gets up there, something else comes up, like your p.o.s car needs new tires, and then you're back with a bunch of 0s in you bank account. Finally, I just went out and did it about a month ago. I do think that it's smart to wait until you don't have to live paycheck to paycheck, but the longer you put it off, the further away you may be from actually getting one. When it comes down to it, you'll make it work. Or maybe, I was just a little nancy, and I should have gotten one 4 years ago when it first crossed my mind. Anyway, just something to keep in mind.

Also, as the year comes to an end, think about some sweet deals that you may be passing up as dealers are trying to make room for all the new bikes. You'll only be limited to finding the color you want.

 

Good Point!!!!! The good End of the Model Year deals are happening now.........You wait until January and you will most definitely pay full MSRP for your bike.......Something to keep in mind!!!!

I BOUGHT MINE IN JUNE, AT THAT TIME, AND STILL HAVE A '00 MUSTANG AND A'05 NEON SRT4 ON MY CREDIT , SO I WAS THINKING, SHOULD I WAITH UNTIL NEXT SUMMER WHEN I FINISH THE 'STANG PAYMENT, OR JUST GIVE IT A TRY? SO I FOUND A DEALERSHIP ON THE NET, MADE AN APPOINTMANT FOR SAME DAY, I TOUGHT IF I CAN GET THE BIKE TOO,.. THATS SWEET. IF NOT I JUST WAITH ANOTHE YEAR. I got my '05 in June and I paid way under MSRP. Ended up paying $7200 for the bike, a lot better than the MSRP of $9000. Get an '05 and save.
