Has anyone had this ever happen to them
I had just went to a bike shop to purchase a new pilot power rear.
they installed it there and now i have scratches on my rear rim. My bike is a 06 cbr 600rr
what is the cost of a new rim or am i **** out of luck if the bike shop will not want to buy me a new one?

I have rarely had a shop change my tire and NOT scratch my wheel in the process. I'm not too **** though so I have never said anything. Besides, it was just a black wheel and was barely noticeable....
new wheel is $615 retail, i had that happen and i made them refund my money for the install and then i went to the hobby shop and bought a paint pen and colored the scratches in. My wheels were black so it was an easy match. But definately take your reciept in and talk to management about it, be calm with them and more than likely they'll take care of you.
new rims are teh bling...
i would just live with it but try and get something from them...because it'll most likely get scratched again sometime later.
it's a bike it's going to have scratches sooner or later. i wouldn't waste money in getting a new one just because of scratches in areas that's barely visible. i'd save that money for trackdays!
