Default Front Brake Pads Question

I have a new set of Galfer waves on my bike now and I was trying to decide which brake pad to match up with them... I have read that b/t the Vesrah RJL, Galfer HH, and Carbone Lorraine SBK-3 that the SBK-3 may be best for my application but that the Vesrah are one of the best pads you can get.

I was just wondering what you guys on this site prefer to run and if anyone has any info about any of these pads it would be appreciated.

BTW - I think I have eliminated the Galfers and that I am leaning towards the SBK-3*s because they do no wear the rotors as much and because I do not do track days with this bike that the Vesrah*s may be overkill...

those vesrah's are $90 a pair. if they last as long as regular pads and you can foot the bill, why not stop the crap out of your bike?

I use ebc brakes on my 03 cbr 600rr and they work great for both the track and the street. you have to be carefull what pads you get though. the vesrah's might be expensive and let you stop the **** out of your bike, but they 're racing pads like I think they are, ur better off just throing ur bike off the side of a cliff.

Vesrah makes a RJL for the street and SRJL for track, from what I have read.

Kneedraggers has some Vesrah pads for $33 a set, but I'm not sure they are the RJLs.

Like I said, I'll probably end up getting the Carbone Lorraine SBK-3s.

Seriously... for stopping power... doesn't it just get to a limit where you either lock up the wheel or do an endo?

^ If you jam on the brakes, then any pad will do that. You just have to learn to modulate.

FYI..
The CL SBK's come out of the same factory the Vesarh RJL's do. They're a very similar compound. Both are great pads.

I think I am going to go with the CL SBK*s, I am using these pads strictly for the street.
