Default Frame damage

Okay, so I got a new lower and replaced it from my wreck a few weeks ago. See: https://cbrforum.com/forum/cbr-600rr-12/need-opinions-91225/ for pics. In the picture, you can see a little bit that the lower was broken and when I took it off I noticed that the frame was scratched. The damage is probably 1-2 square inches, and the scratches are fairly deep. The insurance already settled with a check in the mail as we speak. The claim adjuster told me to call if there was any damage that was missed and this was missed because the guy who did the estimate at the stealership was either lazy, stupid or inept, you can take your pick.

So.....what should I do? Should I take a picture of it and send it to the insurance company and claim it? Will they likely total it for frame damage, even if slight? If it is totaled, can I buy it back from them and can I still insure it on a salvage title? Or should I not even worry about it since I have no plans on getting rid of it and it will be paid off in 10 months anyway?

While I have no intention of getting rid of her, if I get into a pinch later down the road I don't want to screw myself and not be able to sell it if I am faced with that decision.

I know I'll get the "This thread is worthless without pics" but I was tossing and turning in bed about it and needed to get the questions out there to clear my head. I'll post them in the morning when I get the chance. Thanks.

whats up bill, yea i would def. turn that into the insurance company because if you ever did get into a pinch, your def. gonna loose some money if your frame ends up being a salvaged title. If the insurance comp. totals it, buy it back, and use the money you get from them to get a new frame

Here's a close up. Like I said, it's just a scratch albeit a sizable one.
